
Food quality pertains to the acceptable characteristics of food. Food delivery service is considered a great convenience nowadays, especially with the fatal threat of the pandemic looming around. However, maintaining food quality during delivery is challenging, particularly for some fast-food restaurants. Therefore, this study aims to provide insights on how food delivery services can be made more convenient for customers, many of whom are anxious about going out due to the ongoing pandemic. Furthermore, this study focuses on one of the biggest food chains in the Philippines, Jollibee.
The aim of this study is to identify how food establishments maintain food quality by considering factors such as temperature, appearance, and taste in order to meet customer expectations. It is undeniable that, at present, food delivery has become essential, especially during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This study will benefit the food industry by providing valuable information and helping businesses gain a better understanding of how to maintain food quality through delivery services. It will also contribute to improving their knowledge of product quality.
This study employs a quantitative research design, which involves collecting and analyzing numerical data. The researchers used survey questionnaires consisting of a set of individual questions to gather data.
Most of the respondents were female and aged 25 years old and below. The findings revealed that customers were very satisfied with the quality of the delivered food. The data gathered indicated that customers were highly satisfied with the food delivery service, suggesting that food quality was very well maintained.
