
This study investigated the effect of the Build Build Build program on the recovery and sustainability of the tourism industry as perceived by hospitality and international management students. The researcher hypothesized that there might be a difference in terms of economic growth, employment, and quality of life in urban and rural areas. The research design of this present study is quantitative–descriptive method and assessment or evaluation studies. Non-probability sampling was utilized, and 60 hospitality and international management students were asked to participate in this study by answering the survey questionnaire provided by the researchers. There was no significant difference between economic growth, employment, and quality of life in urban and rural areas (f = 0.73, p = 0.48). Nevertheless, the level of effectiveness to the tourism industry as perceived by hospitality and international management students in terms of economic growth (3.63) was rated as Strongly Agree, employment (3.54) as Strongly Agree, and quality of life in urban and rural areas (3.58) as Strongly Agree. Therefore, the researcher found that there was not much difference in the effects of the Build Build Build program on the recovery and sustainability of the tourism industry as perceived by hospitality and international management students.
