The The Preservation of the CDC Parade Grounds in Clark, Pampanga Towards Tourism Development

This research will focus on the preservation and tourism development of CDC parade grounds in Clark, Pampanga. The researchers will be collecting information to determine how to preserve and develop CDC. Qualitative research will be used in this study and purposive sampling technique will used by the researchers which will include thirty (30) respondents. Participants must be: First, part of the management of CDC Parade Grounds Clark, Pampanga. Second, participants’ ages rages from 18 – 59 years old. The interview was conducted through face-toface or via online platforms using GoogleMeet or Zoom. In order to have an organized interview flow, the researchers provided interviewguide conversation. The materials used during interview included interview protocol, and voice recorder.

As stated by the management those who visit the Parade Grounds follow the CDC rules and regulations and also, they are a responsible tourist since CDC is very strict when it comes to that. CDC are still opting for improvement, upgrades and leveling up the park especially the facilities that are mostly used by athletes and visitors. Most of the management described CDC as a picnic area, a place where people do their recreational activities. The Tourism Promotions Division assists in monitoring the condition of CDC-managed parks, open spaces, and historical sites. It is important to preserve and restore historic structures since they serve as a reflection of our past and contribute to learning to comprehend and respect those who lived in previous eras and who had distinct traditions and habits. CDC is always recognized and has so much potential into developing. They are planning to improve or enhance the experience of visitors or tourist. also planning to add and upgrade the amenities, maintain the cleanliness and image of the CDC. All the plans regarding the CDC needs to undergo a process and approval. But they want to build more establishments and to keep the trees because they want to preserve the natural beauty of the CDC.
