Assessing the Tourism Development of Tagalag Fishing Village in Valenzuela City: Basis for Promotional Strategies

This study aims to investigate the state of tourism development in Tagalag Fishing Village and assess visitor satisfaction through quantitative methods. Data will be collected using surveys administered to local businesses and tourists who have visited the village. The surveys will focus on capturing visitor demographics, travel preferences, spending habits, and feedback from local businesses on their current state, challenges, and opportunities. Through data analysis, insights will be gained into the existing state of tourism in Tagalag Fishing Village and its growth potential. Furthermore, the study will identify critical areas for improvement, including infrastructure, marketing strategies, and environmental sustainability. Recommendations will be provided to promote local businesses and sustainable tourism, encompassing initiatives such as enhancing service and product quality, diversifying tourism offerings, and increasing marketing efforts. To address the research question of whether there is a significant difference between the assessment of service providers and visitors in terms of product, price, place, and promotion, various research methods will be employed. This chapter presents an overview of the study design, including the research location, target population, sampling techniques, research ethics, the research instrument, data collection procedures, and the statistical tools to be utilized for data analysis. By examining both visitor satisfaction and the perspectives of local businesses, this study will contribute valuable insights to inform tourism development strategies in Tagalag Fishing Village, ultimately aiming to enhance the visitor experience, foster sustainable practices, and support the growth of the local economy.
